My Jap Dinner

Have been craving for a lot of expensive food recently. That day wanted to eat Pizza so ordered for dinner, costs $25. Then on Tues, wanted to eat Jap food, didn't get it on Tues night but got it last night... hehehhe

My baby so sweet, wanted to surprise me with the food I wanted... so he arrange to meet Penny at Novena Square. But.... hahah there's always a but right?.. kekeke

But Penny called me at around 3:30pm yesterday to tell me that she is meeting Baby at Novena Square and that she will be late so ask me to inform him as she does not have his no.. HAHAHAH

So I called Shawn.
Me: Where are you? (Hostile voice)
Shawn: Outside.
Me: Doing what?
Shawn: Meet Clients.
Me: Meet who?
Shawn: Meet clients lah
Me: Oh.. meet clients ah? (started to giggle)
Shawn: No lah, I meeting Penny
Me: Yah I know.. Cause u know why? Cause she called me...(broke out into laughter)
Shawn: Aiya, She spoil sport lah..

Hahahah so I know my hubby going to get Jap food for me loh.. heheh So hungry once I thought of Tempura and Chawanmushi.

So my nice hubby went to Ichiban Boshi at Novena Square level 2 to buy Bento for me. So, knowing me whom loves Chawanmushi and Tempura, he bought the Ichiban Bento for me for dinner. The most expensive set with 2 Tempura Prawns, 1 Tempura Ladies Fingers, 1 Tempura Sweet Potato, 1 small slice of Unagi, 1 piece of stewed fish, 5 Slices of Salmon Sashimi, 1 Miso Soup, 3 Slices of Orange and my Fav, Chawanmushi!!! Sounds delicious right? Its all in my stomach now... hahaha. And it costs him $23!!! Just for me alone!!! heheh *evil*

Sigh.. don't really have time to go upload my pics leh.. let's see when I do it k? kekekek

Merry Merry Christmas...

Christmas over liao... so fast... Hahah Just set up Christmas tree on 21st, now have to take down liao.. hahah Maybe I should hang Ang Pows so that it can be used to CNY also... kekeke

Sat morning dad sent us to the market to buy the food for tonight's BBQ, then we went to collect my bro's Motorolla V3 and to collect my BenQ Digicam... Yes! I got a digicam liao!!!

For the BBQ, had to force my bro to come... we had cray fish, prawns, chicken wings, sprite and calamansi marinated pork (made by Marizel) and my marinated pork, taiwan sausage, normal sausage.. that's all I can remember. Surprisingly, we finished all the crayfish but not the prawns.. funny right?

Then u know what, my bro was playing with my digicam then he accidentally deleted my photos!!! Ah!!!

Anyway, from my memory, we had many many mahjong sessions.. Sat night, bro stayed over to play Mahjong, we played till 3am in the morning... Then woke up at around 9plus to have breakfast (Sauteed Mushroom, Scrambled Eggs, Hotdog and Bread... Yum Yum) then continued Mahjong again.. hahaha. Played till around 4pm, Dad came to fetch us to granny's house cause Aunt Susan having BBQ session there... Yah... Another BBQ, sian right? But since she invited, not nice to decline so went loh.. Shawn lazy so stayed at home.. After the BBQ, he had a brilliant idea and sms me to say that he wants to go over to my dad's house to play Mahjong... Pengz..

Dad and Bro was okie with the idea, only mum didn't like it cause she keep thinking that I teach my bro Mahjong, "jiao huai ta" Wah Piang...

So we left my two sweethearts at home with Kibbles and enough wet food and left for my dad's place...
I was so tired that I fell asleep even before I could touch the Mahjong Set.. hahah.. Woke up at around 12 am and realised that Hubby was so nice to let me sleep first. Then we played till 5am. hahah Now like Zombie...

Then Monday, same thing.. Played Mahjong after breakfast till evening.. Crazy right... that's how we spent our Christmas for Yr 2005!

Met Up with MumLoveFiFi

Yesterday wore the really high high heels to the office and my poor feet hurts like mad... walked to the post office to post the skirt out and my sole + toe hurts so much that I want to cry...

So when I was on my way back, hubby needed to go to Watson's to get a Christmas Pressie so I went watson's to buy a bathroom slipper to wear home... Hahahah. U know Bathroom slipper is so Soong right? heheh..

So, wearing this stupid but comfy slippers, we even went Sheng Siong to buy Beef and spaghetti. hgahaha. I practically look like a Ronald MacDonald with the HUGE slippers..

At around 7:15, as arranged, MumLoveFiFi brought Fi Fi here... Fi Fi is a Silky Terrier whom does not have much hair and so she looks skinny. I can see that Maggie really pampers her a lot. Maggie is 22 weeks preggy with a Boy.. so I gave her a low quote also to let her save money for baby.. heheh. Maggie is a very forthright person, she not afraid or shy to say certain things which ppl will feel paiseh one.. heheh
For eg: She say her hubby at times will help her wash her undies and hang but the whole world will be able to see her panties and bra.. when she said this, I saw that Hubby went @@. hehehe. She's just straightforward that's all .. heheh

The good thing was Fi Fi got along very very well with Rosie... They were playing ear biting... wrestling.. FiFi is smaller than Rosie but definitely won't lose in playing.. heheh. Poor Sugar was just standing at the side looking at them play cause Sugar is more dainty then the two Chor Lor girls... hahah. But I'm surprised that Rosie looks as Fi Fi like a Jie Jie... cause FiFi can be chewing her ears, jumping on her but Rosie doesn't bite or snap back at her... She just sat there and let her jump all over her initially... then they both started to wrestle in a very gentle way.. hahah

Think Maggie is very comfortable putting FiFi at our place... She say that she might make it a yearly thing cause her hubby is a Malaysian so every CNY, she will be going back to Malaysia for visits for around 15 days. So every Yr, Rosie will have this Jie Jie over to play with her.

I'm really happy to have found friends like Esther and Maggie that are dog lovers... and I Love Rosie, Sugar and FiFi.

Oh Yah, sms Caslyn last night and heard that Ding Dong's better. No more vomiting. Asked if she was having heat, Caslyn say no leh.. no more drops of blood... Hmmm weird right? But as long as she is well can liao lah.. I just hope that all doggies will have love from their owners and no one abandoned.

This was what I saw...

It was a portrait drawn by Aunt Suzi as a gift for me.... just because I offered help. I was so touched and also guilty cause I wasn't much help in distributing the stones cause Jean didn't want my involvement.

It all started with my boarding stuffs. Jean wants to board her dogs at my place before and during CNY. So I qouted her $10 per day since its many days and many dogs, all was settled and confirmed but last min she says that she will only be boarding her dogs during CNY and only for 3 days. So I explained that I would have to give her a quote of $11 per day per dog cause I need to be fair to other dog owners also. I am already giving her a lower quote than other doggy owners cause I normally charge $13 per day for a Public Holiday. In the end, she decided to cancel the boarding.

So when I know from Aunt Suzi that I should contact Jean, I called and made some suggestions like we can start a thread for DS members to reply to see where they want to collect the stones and offered my place to be one of the collection point. Finally, she started the thread but did not mentioned anything about my place as a collection point... Hmmm... I also never say much, just keep quiet. I just hope to be able to offer help and make sure Aunt Suzi's effort not wasted. I went to collect my stones and portrait on Monday night after sending Ding Dong home, never say much to her also.. just took my stuffs, thank her and left.. I was so mesmerized by the painting.. Now its safely locked in my wardrobe till I have the time to bring it for framing.. Will post a pic after I frame...

Christmas is coming

Can u believe that we bought the christmas tree last month but its not set up yet!!!

Hahah. cause we board Ding Dong and worried that she chews the tree so we thought to only set it up after she goes home... Now that she's home, her fosterer sms me last night to say that she vomited and asked if we fed her any other food but I think for very long and replied no. All this while, I only feed her the Science Diet dry food and lots of water. Nothing else leh.. I feed Rosie the can wet food lah but not to Ding Dong leh.. Sigh... Caslyn says she vomitted brown wet stuff and may be having her heat cause got drops of blood. And she didn't vomit or anything during her stay here. Hmmmm...

Ding Dong grow up liao.. got first heat liao.. why all dogs at my place all so heng will get heat one ah? heheh Am worried about her. Told Caslyn to update me on her condition.

As for Christmas, think nobody will be coming for the BBQ. Sherry will be out to chiong, Esther will be in Malaysia and Matthew has a function to go so think only will have daddy, mummy and GY here for the BBQ.

Boring... okie back to work after 2 days MC of staying at home and rotting... will blog about my boring life again soon..

Summary of My Friday...

Friday was a very sleepy day cause I have been waking up 3-4 times the night before cause Joy is sick...

So a sleepy me was lying on the mattress when Marizel(standing by the window carrying baby Joy) says "Gong Gong come already". I was lying there and was puzzled.. I even ask Marizel if she saw correctly. Why would Gong Gong come on a Friday afternoon, 1pm?? Its almost telling me that I strike 4D $500, possible but chances are low..

So I asked "U sure?"
But Marizel then said " Yah, I see Gong Gong's car"
So I thought maybe same car but its not daddy's car till she said
"I see Jiu Jiu also"

I went @@!
My bro? What's he doing here? He's considered a tortoise cause he never likes to come out of his shell.
So when Marizel said that, I knew it is really my Dad... But why are they here.
Best part is Marizel said " Oh dun tell"
I was like Huh? why dun tell, Josh is not here... hahaha
My bro meant dun tell me... hahah but too late, I was already at the window... kekeke

It was a surprise Party for me... My Mum was here to cook for me and BY RIGHT, I was suppose to be at work and when I'm home, I would be so surprised that there was a cake and a lot of food for me... It was all planned by my sweet hubby a few weeks ago... yes, u read correctly A FEW WEEKS AGO and I didn't know a single bit...

My family didn't say anything, even my friend didn't leak out anything.. hahahah

My dad, bro and mum went to Seng Siong earlier on to buy all the stuffs like Duck, Coke, Fish Ball, Sotong Ball, Tung Hoon, Cucumber, Chicken Wings... etc.

Few days ago, I saw a name and phone no written behind a piece of paper so I asked hubby who's no is that.. Hubby told me Mdm Chew is the Auntie that sells food downstairs his office.. I even ask how come he got her no? To call her to order food before going down to pick it up? He even said Yes.... And Guess what? Mdm Chew is the Auntie downstairs, yes that's the fact, BUT its downstairs our house whom owns the coffee shop. Hubby ordered Sambal Chilli and Nasi Lemak from her for my birthday...

Hahah everything he told me are all lies to cover for the surprise party.. hahah. On Friday morning, he was msging on his phone so I asked who msg u? He said Matthew, so I asked him how was he coping alone in the office.. He said he's okie.. Then a call came and he was talking to the other party and this was what I heard vaguely ".... Ten Mile ah... ... how much?... $13 plus? Okie loh" And I only realised after that, that he's talking to my Bro whom is at Seng Song Ten Mile Junction.... hahah I very silly hor.. Hubby say A, I believe its A... hhahaha

At night, Esther came with the cake, Matthew came also.. We had a wonderful dinner + a Tiramisu from the cake shop from towner Road. Was so happy.. Blow candles, cut cake with Joshua... He stole the chocolate pieces on the cake!

But on the whole, really had a wonderful Birthday.

I sincerely thank My Hubby!!! Whom secretely planned weeks before. Muacks!

I wanna thank my family for coming over and cooking for me...

I wanna thank Esther for her effort in going to get the cake and walking back to my place in her heels.. heheheh... And also her SPA gift set... and also able to keep it from me for so long even though I msn her everyday.. kekek

I also want to thank Matthew, Dennis and Jonathon for coming for the celebration. I really enjoyed myself very very much!

Summary of My Thursday Night...

Hmmm.... Friday.... Friday.. what can I say about my Friday???

It was SIMPLY WONDERFUL, MARVELOUS, EXCITING day!!!!

Okie, it all began with Thursday night... My poor daughter was down with fever and my helper DIDN'T EVEN KNOW!!! Joy woke up around 8 plus and didn't want to sleep so Marizel carried her out and place her in her walker. When I approached her and want to carry her, I felt that her temp was high. When I asked Marizel, she told me " Ah... its because weather cold".. I was like WTF? What has weather cold gotto do with her temp high?

I insisted on taking the thermometer out and tested her temperature... It was a good 38°C!!! Immediately, I got her to pack some stuffs and I rushed Joy to the Doc. Call me a paranoid... I don't like my kids being sick and no one even know about it... Its called NEGLIGENCE!!!

Upon reaching the doc, there was many ppl as Doctor Tan is the Doc on duty that night. The Nurse took her temperature and guess what... within 15 mins (travel time between my house and the clinic plus waiting time), her temperature shot up to 39.6°C!!!

I quickly request the nurse to put the cold plaster on her forehead and request for a dose of Paracetemol but Nurse say cannot give med as she needs doc's instruction...

Shortly, doc ask us to go in even though its not our turn yet.. so nice...

Doc gave a dose of Fever med and cough syrup and ask us to monitor.

So I decided to take Urgent leave to stay at home to look after her at night and on Friday...

You know why? Cause I just met two angels.. One whom told Aunt Suzi that my birthday's coming and the other is Aunt Suzi.. hahahah

Aunt Suzi, you were wonderful to have given us this as a gift. That's really sweet of you, I know you drew these till 2 am in the morning.. Thanks!

Am upset.. Y is life so vulnerable?

How come life is so vulnerable?

Saw on DS that a dog was ran over by a car and needs fosterer urgently so I offered to take her in... Called Angel and say that I can foster her. Angel told me to call Ricky so that he can brief me about looking after an injured dog. Spoke to Ricky and he said that he will bring the dog over once Angel bring her to the Vet. Most prob Vet will discharge her and Ricky will bring her over.

So I prepared myself mentally for the waking up at night, possible of Dog's incontinence and hubby even agreed to do this and support me even though no money can be earned.

We asked for help in resources like Play pen and etc and ppl came and help.

But.....

Just recieved a call from Angel that the dog passed away even before she can reach the vet...

I have a little life in me who's has a little heart pounding and I realised that life is so vulnerable....

Counting Down to my Birthday.... 1 week to go.

My Birthday is coming soon. Means will be older by 1 yr soon... Coming to 23rd, getting older and older...

But come to think about it, 3 kids by the age of 24, quite okie right? heheh

Actually birthdays are no longer a big issue liao... There is no longer any wish list for my pressies cause I also dun have much close friends... Hahah Dun know when that started but now feel very sian about Bdays..

I'm not single whom can go out and chiong or shopping for bday...
Birthday is another day to spend time with kids and etc...

Feel blessed to have 2 sweet kids with me and a "sweet" hubby whom never fails to piss me off.. hahaha to spend my bday with

My Last Weekend

Its Monday again... Had a kind off long weekend... Didn't have Josh with us on Friday night so time seems to have flew pretty slowly. Okie.. As my Birthday is near, my hubby brought me out for dinner at Fish & Co on Friday night hence my little Joshua had to spend his weekend at Por Por's house.

We had seafood platter for two but Fish & Co at Novena is getting from bad to worse... Food didn't seem very fresh so it was not really nice, hubby agreed on that too.

After dinner, Dennis and Jonathon called. Saying that they are downstair our place and we were like still in Novena Sq. So we said that we'll come back asap and we'll buy dinner for them since they have not eaten and that its Dennis's bday in a few days time. Best part is, there are 2 ATMs in Novena Sq, and coincidentally, both cannot dispense cash... Then what good is an ATM which cannot dispense cash??? So with the left over $18, we decided to just buy the BK and take a cab home.. But since I was craving for Vienetta, we decided to go to Cold Strorage to get those items and swipe my nets card.. heheh (No cash). So we bought 3 cans of Amsterdame and 1 trio Chocolate Moouse cake for Bang and of course my Vienetta.. hehehe ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Saturday was an interesting day as I plan that we "bomb" the house. Am sick and tired of Rosie's constant tick problem. Its not serious at all but it doesn't go away for long. Rosie will have like 1 or 2 ticks found like in 1 week, then after constant checking for few days, no ticks.. then maybe 3-4 days later, found another 1 tick. Can't ticks just get out of my house? Therefore, I decided to bomb the house and evacuate everyone to my mom's place.

We searched high and low at NTUC, Coldstorage for the bombs but non was found... So we decided to call the pet shops to try. US Pet house no stock, found some at Perfect Pets Paradise. The brand is PPP, not sure if it works cause I've always heard like either Mortein Tick and Flea Bomb or Fido is better, never heard of PPP Fogging although PPP stuffs for ticks are good.

So after carrying 5 cans of chemicals home, spending more than $89 hahah (cause couldn't help indulging in pet food Rosie and Sugar), we left the shop determining to kill all ticks, fleas, mosquitoes and etc, whatever pests in the house... hahahah

Side track a bit ah.. I found this at the pet shop... Anyone can guess what is this?

I took all that is left in the shop.. heheh. Cute right? Hope furkids enjoyed that.

Okie, back to the Ticks topic... Hubby was the one whom actioned on the cans of chemicals cause I'm preggy mah.. so cannot inhale this type of stuffs. A lot of preparation work to be done. We wrapped all the cushions and mattress with garbage bags, all soft toys and etc. Then packed Joy's milk and etc. Packed Rosie's toys, Sugar's cage and even dismantle the kitchen safety gate... hehehhe
We closed all windows, evacuated the place while hubby started the fogging. Then I took Sugar and Rosie down with all barang barangs and packed inside daddy's car and we headed for Bukit Batok.

Clever me bought can food, Oats with Beef and Veg for furkids so that we dun have to prepare HCF at mum's place. But the stupid and kiasu me happily bought 4 cans.. hahah thinking not enough. In the end, 1 can is more than enough for the 2 furkids.. still got some left...

At night we played Mahjong (3 legs, Shawn, me and my bro) while Sugar and Rosie played in the kitchen. Surprisingly, they behaved very very well at my mum's place.. No barking at all.. We played Mahjong till near 2am man.. I was so tired that I kept dropping the tiles.. hahah

Sunday woke up very early in the morning cause need to pack, clean up and leave for Market. Sunday went market, didn't buy any groceries.. Lame right? We decided to give Marizel a break and not cook dinner at all... Hahahah. Actually is Hubby a bit tired off Marizel's cooking so decided to eat packed food for a week..... Bad hubby, dunno if he will grow tired of me or not. heheh.

After Marketing, my parents and I went to Hougang NTUC to buy monthly groceries... and you guess how much I spent? $416!!! Wah Piang eh... every month getting higher.. Think bcos of the titbits I bought.hahahah so can't blame anyone ya...

After groceries, carried everything home with Marizel's help. Realise that my house getting smaller or things getting more.. no place to put liao.. think gotto bring titbits to office already... (hahaha excuses)
Anyway, after Jean came with her 3 dogs, the rest of the days was just nua and watch Star Awards....
Than knock out and sleep loh... heheheh

Now coming to Monday, another standard day for me, working. Tonight bringing Joshua to the doc and most prob having KFC for dinner. Josh's coughing is getting bad to worse.. Maybe bcos of last night's mango session. Sigh.. Let's hope we dun spend too much.. Else I will be broke man..

Life is so unpredictable.

Life is so unpredictable. Still rem my both my twins uncle used to be very good in their business, drive big car (mercs) and got a lot of money. But both of them now share the same fate that both biz fail.

The younger of the twins now got depression and is on the verge of commiting suicide. Grow up, escaping cannot salvage the situation, only standing up and facing it does.

My poor Aunt is very stressed in facing him cause they still has a 5 yr old daughter.
I told dad, the cleverest thing and the right thing my uncle have done so far is to have married my aunt. If he does not have her now, he would have died long ago. He forsaked her when she was pregnant and now she could have done the same to him when he is down, but she did not. She is trying her best to stand up for him.

My poor dad is running around trying to resolve their problem when he's got tonnes of them himself. I know he is trying hard to be sane and to help everyone but who helped him in his problems then? He is both mentally and physically tired out by my mom, his mom, his bros and sisters and his own debts. What else you expect a 53 yr old man do? Dad had hours and hours of talk with him and encouraging him and there was once he even spoke to him overnight to encourage him to stand strong till 7-8 am in the morning...

Even after work and coming to fetch us, he dropped by my uncle's office to see if he's working hard or backing out... Then after that, he had another talk with my uncle till late and my aunt had to send us home first to leave the guys to talk at the coffee shop beside his office.

It was already 9pm, so I invited my Aunt to have dinner while waiting for the guys to come. After dinner, QiQi (their daughter) called to see how come her parents still not home yet. I have a feeling that my aunt is rather jealous that QiQi is closer to my uncle and is feeling upset to a certain extent that "QiQi's father" which is my uncle is making her life miserable and now QiQi called her to ask how come she's not home.

Last night, Shawn talked to Dad on the phone till about 1am to see what ideas they can come out to salvage the situation the company is going through and Dad touched a bit about the background of this family and Shawn said that Dad cried... I know Daddy is very tired.. very tired of having so much problems but he is still standing strong!

Can u guys please stand up and fend for yourself? My dad is already old and if he can take all these nonsense and all that he's gone through, what gives u the right of going through a depression and give others problem? Life is not a game... Not u say dun wan to play liao means just give up!

I just hope that all problems will be resolved and Dad can have a better life and retire and have many grandchildren to be with.

Its just a simple wish, is it hard to achieve?
