Today is a big day for me.
It marks 8 years with my Dearest Lao Gong Shawn.
He sent me a very very sweet message this morning which made tears roll in my eyes.
Shawn says:
yes dear
thank you for believing in me and standing by me all these years
its been my blessing to have you as a wife
Me to you:
Dearest Hubby, I just want to tell you that I am grateful and Thankful to the Lord that he has put you in my life. It has also been my blessing to have you as a husband, I can never imagine my life a day without you. I Love You and pray to God that we will have many more years ahead for us to age together and see our children grow old with kids.
I Love You!!!
Love,
Me *^_^*

1st Day at Business Objects.... SYDNEY!!!
It was my first day at work in Business Objects today... I had checked the online map yesterday and roughly know how to get to Miller Street but the biggest problem was..... how to get out of hotel.. HAHAHAH
I woke up early in the morning and took a bath in the cold... Sydney's having its winter now and its about 16-18 Degress Celsius outside... hahah and remember, my hotel room heater is faulty? hehehe
I took a hot water bath and wore my suit to work... Went downstairs and walked out of the main door... Hmmm... how do I get to the streets without having to walk down the slop? Went back into the hotel again and took the lift down to basement... Oops... basement is just the underground carpark.. I still can't get to the streets.. At this time, a caucasian guy came in to the lift at basement and I think I look quite lost.. hahah he started asking if I was lost... I said that I'm trying to get to Miller Street and he offered to bring me there cause he's going that direction as well... I was delighted..
He took me to Level 1 and instead of walking to the main door, he turned left and walked the other way... As a caucasian, he's tall... and walks super fast also... I had to like be in a half running mode to try to catch up with him. So... what I had to do is to walk to the back of the hotel and there was a door which led to a short flight of stairs to the streets.. Yeh!!! So I walked to Miller Street as per what I remembered from the map...
As I walked and walked, I still couldn't find the unit I was looking for... :( There were some shops under renovation but I don't think that's what I'm looking for... I walked to the next junction and started asking around... I asked some contractors working on a shop under renovation and they do not know where 80 Miller Street is @@... can't believe it man...
Thinking back about the map, I remembered that its before the junction so I walked backwards.. Guess what! I walked past the building earlier.. hahah Its really just before the junction... how could I have missed it...
I quickly walked to the lobby and went upstairs.. I introduced myself to our lovely receptionist, Carmen... Carmen quickly called for Michelle and she came to bring me to our desks... After settling down, she took me for a quick tour around the office and introed me to the wonderful pantry that I will never forget. It had orange juice, milk, bread, butter, cereal, fruits, DISH WASHER... and etc...
The next surprise was that it wasn't the only pantry... There was another pantry which had a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, fridge, LCD TV!!! can you believe that I was watching Oprah during lunch!!! hahahha Not forgetting to say that it had a beautiful view!!!
I will never forget the office.. it had the best pantries I've ever seen...

In Sydney - *Warning* Very Long Post
Arrived at Sydney Airport at about 7 plus Sydney time which is about 5pm Singapore time. There was a lot of ppl at the Airport, very packed.
It was cold. About 16 Degrees C, brrrrr it was dark as well. Totally feel like night time... In SG, 7 plus, we still can see some gleam of light in the sky but its different here.
Dragged my luggage to outside the airport and sat there for a smoke plus wear my business suite cause it was really cold. Called my hubby to say that I've reached and they are still at my parent's place. So I told him I was fine and will be heading for the airport soon. At this time, Aunt Glenda called. I was so happy cause she's was married to an Aussie, Uncle Geof, and is residing in Aust now. So I told her I am in Australia already :). Then she says that she will find a day and ask Uncle Geof to drive to North Sydney to meet me... Was thrilled cause I have not seen her since she got married.
Well, back to my little adventure, I went to look for the taxi queue outside the airport. The queue was really long but moved really fast. After a short while, I got on a cab told the driver to drive to Habourview Hotel. On my way to the hotel, I heard very loudly "Pop, Pop, Pop" on my left. I turned to see what it was and I saw Fire Works!!! Hahaha the driver said jokingly that Sydney's welcoming me... He's got such good humour. I understand from him that they don't have this often and they must either be having a celebration or a rehersal. Whatever it was for, its nice. My first time seeing fireworks "Live" at such close proximity. After some time, I reached the hotel and it costs me about AUS$40plus. Thats expensive. It was only about 20 mins cab ride. Hehheheh
Hotel's up a little slope and it has got a very nice view. I took my luggage and went to the hotel. After informing the Hotel Guest Relations personnel that I have a reservation, he asked me for my credit card. Well, it was my first time abroad and checking in to a hotel myself so I was like @@, I have no credit card and I thought it will be covered by the company. So I informed the gentlemen that I do not have one and I will have to check with the company tomorrow when I get there.
They brought me to the room and it was at the top level Suite. Cool....
Well it looks like a normal SG hotel room with TV and working desk. But it was real exciting as it was my first "adventure". I kept my luggage and laptop and suddenly realised that I hadn't had dinner. Hahahah too excited and forget all about it. It was already 10pm. In house Restaurant was already closed hence I decided to call for Room Service and ordered this.... Pizza. Well, everything on the menu looked so expensive hence I chose to eat Pizza. hahahha
Pizza was huge and I love it.
I have a bathtub and a heater... Like I said, I haven't travelled before hence it took me some time to figure out how to operate the heater.. hahahah In the end, I actually spent the first night in the cold cause the heater was faulty.. hahah
Tomorrow off to the office!!! More to come :)

12th Aug 2007 - My First Flight
This was blogged when I was on the plane. My first flight and I was flying ALONE!!!
Hi Everyone… Guess where I am now?
I am blogging from many many feet above ground. The Mountain tortoise has stepped out of her little SGD!! heheh I’m on SQ 219 on my way to Sydney… I’m now some where above the Indian Ocean (As at 12:46pm SG time , Still got 4:15 more hours to go…) heheheh, am already a little restless as I have stayed about 2 hours plus in flight.
Bags have already been packed last night and I was ready to go physically but was I ready mentally? Was I ready to leave my 3 kids and hubby for 5 days? We Shall see…
I want to blog as much as I feel and can rem since it’s my first flight. Let’s see what I have done so far:
6:30am 12th Aug: Hubby woke me up, bath and change to get ready.
6:45am: Dad called to say that he’s on his way
7:00am: Woke Joshua and Joy up to change. Josiah was already up since 5plus 6 am… heheheh
7:10am: Daddy reach our place, went down and started our trip to the airport and hubby was so nice to help me carry and load my luggage… Think he will miss me very much.. heheheh *winkz*
7:45am: Arrive at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2 and approach Counter 8 to check in my luggage. It was quite a long queue.
8:00am: Luggage checked in and we brought the kids to the Macdonalds to have their favourite breakfast.
8:30am: Kids finished breakfast, I told Daddy and hubby that I will go in already cause I didn’t want to be late… :) so gave Joshua, Joy and Josiah a hug and we tool the escalator up.
8:40am: Arrive at the “gates” (dunno what u call that… immigration gates?) hehehe and realized that the display states SQ219 “Last Call” (at 8:45am last call?? I pondered)…
Gave all three of them big hugs and told Joshua to listen to his Daddy, I hope he does…
Gave Shawn a hug and kiss, bid daddy and mummy bye and walked in.
8:45am: Went through the “XRay” inspection point and put my lappie back through then walked pass the “counter” where the lady checked my Visa and boarding tix and proceed to walk in. I’m boarding at Gates F60 and it was all the way in. Gate F60 was the end on the right side so walked on 3 parallel travelators before arriving at the inspection point. There was soooooo many ppl queuing. So I went to the washroom first, well the flight is 6 ½ hours u know…
8:55am: Went through the queue of ppl and put my stuffs through that “XRay” machine again. This time, I was asked to take my laptop out and put it in a separate box. Luckily, there was not much problems except that when I went trough the metal detector, its beeped.. heheheh, actually it beeped for many ppl… so we had to step over, and raise our hands to the side while the use the manual metal detector to screen pass each hand and each leg… :) Was quite “exciting” though…
9:15am : Proceed to the boarding counter and pass this nice lady my boarding pass and she returned me a section of it which stated my seat (58H). Couldn’t get a window seat as I was not fast enough… I will sure get the window seat on my return trip… lol. After the boarding counter, walked through another passage way to the plane.. Hubby called (I stepped aside for others to board) to say that they are going to my dad’s place cause Joshua wants to play guitar.. Wonder where does the Guitar comes from… I bid him goodbye again and phone and boarded the place..
9:35am: Pilot announced that we are a little behind schedule due to some issues and will get clearance in a few minutes..
9:45am: We are finally taking off… I felt a bit giddy when Plane taxi out, cause it kinds of feels like a car moving and stoping, moving and stopping. It also felt a little like roller coaster… soon we are up in the air already… Everything looks so small… hahahha the clouds looks like Marshmallows and it really looks very cool…
Current time:
1:18pm SG time: Local time in Sydney is 3:19pm.
I’m now over Timor Sea… reaching the edge of Aus soon
Distance left to travel to destination: 3653km
Ground Speed 866km/h
Time left: 3:43hrs
Altitude 11300m
Head Wind:62km/h
Outside Air Temperature: -46 °C
Estimated Arrival time 7:06pm Sydney time.
Okie.. That’s all for now.. I feel very sleepy, shall sleep and blog more later or when I reach the hotel..

My Little Adventure in Macpherson
I had a little adventure in Macpherson today... *giggling
It all started as a mummy is giving me some baby items and as she is soon to due for delivery hence we arranged that I collect the items from her office...
She works at Ruby Industrial Complex so adventurous me >.<>
At 12pm, decided to walk to post office to send money to Mildred's family first since its urgent (story below)...
So I walked to the post office in the super hot sun... After post office, I started walking into Lor Bakar Batu, cut across through Ruby Land Complex... Just realised that there are a lot of Ruby *** in Machperson... so I see until blur... As seen in the map below, I was kindoff lost and went walking around in the hot sun to find the place I want to go.... hahaha
I calculated the distance I walked... lol (Sherry say I'm mad... hahaha)
I walked 400m (In Purple) from Pines Industrial Building to the post office, then 750m (In Red)from post office to Ruby Industrial Complex... (using red cause I was lost.. hehehe you can see how sotong I was when I arrived at the junction where Ruby Industrial Complex was just diagonally opposite and I didn't see.. hahaha) then another 525m (Blue) back to the office... totally I walked 1.68km within 45mins leh!!! Wah.... hahahah
Okie, here comes the angry part...
Last night Mildred was having a problem with his already SEPERATED husband. Yes they have been seperated even before her coming to work in Singapore. He has been asking for money with the excuse that the kids need money for school and food.
It all started that someone (whom the husband denies knowing that HP number) sms Mildred's friend (IN PHILIPINES) to say that the kids have no money for dinner. So her friend called her and told her about the problem... I was so pissed that I could literally feel my blood boiling cause I sent him 2900+ Pesos end of last month!!! How can the kids have no money for food now? Some more they didn't even pay for any additional school annual commitments which is due this coming month... what happened to that money!!!
To the bum: "You don't need 3500 Pesos a month just for the kids loh... Admit it, its for your own lazy bum's usage.. Tell us that as Mildred was repaying her loan for the first 7 months, never send him money so he's in debt. Oh please, those debts are yours... In the first place, you don't know that she has come to Singapore to work.. ever since you know, you have been indirectly asking for money... You don't even make an effort to find job to feed yourself and you expect your ALREADY SEPERATED wife to feed you? You are so despicable to even trick your mother in law in handing your youngest son to you so that you can extort more money with the excuse that you want to look after him for a week and never return him. Your wife has to work 16 hours a day, to be far away from her kids to only earn $320 a month! "
Poor Mildred have no choice but to keep sending him money till she goes back for vacation in April next yr. She's just too soft, everytime say anything lah.. send $ to him loh.. :(
After the whole commotion and speaking to that bum, remembered that I still have a very important document to do up.. :( Dragged myself to my super slow Pc which I'm on the verge of throwing it down 4 storeys, hahahah. Worked it till 2am then sleep.. hahah must look like a panda now.. Just hope that this document is useful ba... Crossing my fingers now.

Poll - Should I do it or not
Hi All, need ur help in this...
I accidentally formatted my SD card's picture and those pics are very precious to me.
They are pics and videos of my girl girl's 2nd birthday with pics of the cupcakes and Agar Agar cake that I bought and videos of the whole celebration.
Now I have a vendor that may be able to restore those info at $75.
Should I do it or not?

Sky is blue, I am blue....
Quarreled with hub last night as he completely ruined the surprise I had for him.
The thought of it makes me tear as I type this.
I have placed an order at Tiramisutra for him for Father's Day and I dunno how come he knew it. He didn't like the idea of me sending it to his office. I ordered an 8"Diameter Tiramisu with Kah Lua for him to enjoy with his colleagues and he didn't like that. He didn't appreciate what I had planned. :(
He wanted me to send the cake home instead...

Caught Josiah eating paper... recently he has a habit of eating paper, magazines and even my letters... have to be very careful now...
That day no Gong Gong with us , so we were pratically lugging 3 kids, 1 stroller, 1 big bag trying to get a cab. lol.. miss gong gong man.. lol... Finally got a cab and reached home near to 8pm..
Sat after kiddo's school, we brought them to the playground for a while...

Well I noticed that Josiah has been very naughty even though he have not learnt to walk...
He will deliberately play with his saliva and will do it more if u try to stop him. I have come to a conclusion that he will be even more mischevious than his brother and sister... :(
The two of them...
Cheeky girl at the stairs... "what's she looking at?"
Monkey at the top of the stairs.. heheh
Joshua's tring to do stunt and Joy's trying to climb up the pole.. hahah
10th June:
Went to Michelle's house warming. Got her 2 Queen size Bedsheet sets as gift cause she says that she already has a lot of appliances and the bed sheets are things that she will need.
Took some pics of the kids before we left home...
(Do ignore the date stamp cause its wrong)
Joy rubbing her eyes... Isn't her top nice? heheh
Joy saying "Cheese" when taking the pic.
Caught Josiah eating paper... recently he has a habit of eating paper, magazines and even my letters... have to be very careful now...
Also he has learnt the trick of climbing out of his walker!!! Litterally whole body out with only 1 leg hanging at the seat of the walker and the other leg in mid air... will try to catch a pic of that if I can.
Pardon me for the lousy cam, this is how it looks like when I try to zoom.. but here's a cute side view of Josiah's chubby cheeks.
Hehehe I put on make up myself one leh.. confirm an amature.. hahah
After the house warming, we went to the coffeeshop to get dinner before going home..
Finally a decent pic of Joshua cause he always make funny faces when taking pics.
