Week 37 - Feeling Heavy and Tired

Wah.. time flies soooo fast... Now Baby J already in Week 37! Counting down to less than a month and I will have him in my arms..

Recently, I experienced light bleeding/spotting and it really freaked me out... Thurs night had spotting and it continued on Friday morning. Hence I called TLC and the nurse asked me to go down and have a check as I had slight cramps as well.

When I was at TLC, I realised the spotting had turned into red blood instead of brown!!! Sharks... It really freaked me out... After seeing Dr Paul, he did a check and confirmed that baby's fine and also consoled me saying that Baby J's big enough and even if he decides to arrive early, he will be alright.

After hearing that, I don't know if its good news or not... It suddenly dawned on me that we are not ready for Baby J! @@

Cause we still didn't get like tonnes of items, cot not set up, bedding not bought.. hahahah

I'm recently hooked with watching 命中注定 我愛你... Very very nice show... can watch till I cry like mad.. hahaha

Lots of things to do.. hope to be to settle everything, pack my hospital bag, set up cot and etc and wait for Baby J!

We are also torn between names Jordan or Joel... Hub likes Jordan and Joy loves the name Joel... hahah But one thing were are sure is the middle name would be Isaiah... :)

Stay tune!

Josiah's 1st Day of School - 1st June 09

1st of June was a big day for our little Prince, Josiah Elisiah Anandha!!!
1st day of school, meeting new friends and having a new schedule didn't scare him a bit. He was happily carrying his bag and follow Jie Jie and Kor Kor to school. As it was school holidays for Kor Kor Joshua, so I enrolled him for some Before and After School Care activities for him in his previous Childcare YWCA.
Some pics of Josiah in school, I only have a few cause he was all over the school and it was hard to get a nice picture of him STAYING STILL! lol.
Assembly Time with Jie Jie's Class:

Time with his new Friends during lesson time:

Lunch Time!!! Lunch time has never been a problem for our little prince. He was enjoying his fav food of Toufu and Soup!

Hmm....

He totally enjoyed himself and poor teachers had to tolerate him running around during classes. lol

五月初五 - 端午节

Today is Dumpling Festival... and I had a yummy dumpling.

As I was coming to work, I recieved an SMS which said "I brought a dumpling for your breakfast" from NORA!!!

This year, no one at home made dumpling, don't know why so I have no dumpling to eat... but Nora brought a rice dumpling that her mum made. I was so touched...

Here's the pic of the dumpling that of course no longer exist cause I ate it.. hahahha
Another pic of it:

It was yummy!!!
Thanks Nora!

My Crazy and Expensive Meals

As you know, being pregnant sometimes may make the mummy have cravings. Well I didn't have cravings but just hahah spending lots of money.

26th May 2009 - As colleagues were all either on leave or on training, I was alone for lunch. Hence I went Kiddy Palace @ TPY to check out price of baby items. After thatI walked to Mac for lunch but it was too pack and it was raining... So I walked down along the walkway..... ha ha in the end I ended up in ICHIBAN BOSHI! Ha ha

I was hungry and bored, I ordered 1 Ichiban Bento( which consist of Grilled Fish, Salmon Sashimi, Chawanmushi, Assorted Tempura, Rice, 2 slices of Orange and Miso Soup!) and 1 Hot Green Tea. After having that, I ordered some deserts so that I can get another stamp on my Ichiban card hence I ordered 1 scoop of Matcha Ice Cream and 1 scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. I ate everything just leaving 1/2 scoop of vanilla... Haha scary isn't it?

The costs?... I spent $26.95 on Lunch alone... Oh man...

27th May 2009 - Alone again, I went to Novena Square 2 for lunch. As I didn't know what to eat, I just stood at the mall directory to see where I could go. Although there was a lot of things listed there, I just saw this word as if it was calling me: OLD HONGKONG!!!

This time, I took pictures when my food was delivered... heheheh

It started with Longan and Red Dates Tea, the small cup is so interesting and it will not get hot at all even the tea is very very hot, cool isn't it? Then a Pear Soup... 清凉润肺。Look at the Yummy Soup!!! Fried Carrot Cake

Look at what I have on my table at first... Hahahah Then... Here comes my Roast Duck + Roast Pork Noodles:

And lastly, Fried Beancurd Skin with Seafood in it:

Its Yummy isn't it? Heheh

Now look at the whole table of food just for Mummy Steph and Baby J in her stomach... Yes I admit I'm a glutton!!! Ha Ha HaThis meal again cost me $26 +

Here's the harm done *^_^* :
So morale of the story is... "don't leave Stephanie alone for lunch..." hahah esp when she's pregnant... wahahaha

Officially announcing Baby #4

Hi Everyone,

Not sure if anyone's still following this blog cause I've not updated this for many months.... again... I know... I've been busy with kids and busy getting sick.

Have been sick since 8th Feb till now, 10 days... still coughing. Bronchitis has hit me bad.. real bad this time...

Anyway, the reason for this post is to officially announce that the Anandha family is expecting our 4th child... EDD on 18th Sept 09. I know its a surprise... its a surprise for us as well cause recently I've been very stressed about many issues and busy with our Eldest boy going to P1. We didn't have much "activities" and also that my health has not exactly been the best.

But we both acknowledge that this baby is God's blessing and we will try our best to give equal love and care to all our 4 kids.

A count of our nestlings: Joshua (7), Joy (soon to be 4), Josiah (soon to be 3)... so what should we name our 4th? We hope for a girl though so that we have 2 boys and 2 girls, I really can't imagine having 3 boys.. hahah but most importantly is to have a healthy baby lah...

I know many especially my family members are worried about how we are going to cope financially and physically but I think we will survive. We've survived with 3 kids, I'm sure we can do with 4. Of course I pray that God will bless us with the strength to stay together strong as a couple and parents to our wonderful children. I hope that God will bless us with patience and love to survive parenthood.

So do keep us in your prayers and be happy for us k?

Lots of Love,
Steph

Let go, Let God. Rest in Him

Hi Everyone,

I know its been a long long time that I last had input published. I actually did write something in this blog but they were never completed hence never published.

However, as I was multitasking this afternoon I know I have to blog this immediately and pass this on to as many people as possible. I was attending an online course, watching Hagen's interview in Taiwan and writing notes at the same time. After watching the 53 mins video and having many pauses in between, I had this very warm feeling and tears started to roll in my eyes.

Again, the love from our Heavenly Father touched me again.

I want to share this with all of you and always remember "Let go, Let God. Rest in Him".

Dearest Father in Heaven,
Thank you for sending this message through Hagen.
As you know, I've never been a person that can talk very well or pray very well but you know what I mean and you know what I need.

Thank you Lord for all the wonderful things and people you have put around me. May you bless everyone around me, family and friends and bless those that watches this video and may more people know of your love and know you as a loving father.

Amen!

In Jesus's name I pray. AMEN!

I hope you guys can take some time to watch this video clip and may the Lord bless you with peace and love:

*Guilty of Neglecting My Blog*

Hey Guys... Hehehe I don't know if you are still checking my blog for updates cause its been near to a year since my last entry.
I know I know.... I'm guilty, so guilty... :( You guys must be scolding me for wasting ur time.. hehhe come in here but no updates..
I promise that I will update this as regularly as I can.
Well, some updates on myself. One of my latest fav is a singer cum song writer Hagen Tan. Check out list blog on the right of this. Hagen's a very creative and friendly guy. He's just like any boy next door friendly and etc but is really talented. He has wrote many songs which I really love... As everyone knows that I'm a Christian but I haven't been to church for about 3 years at least... But through him, I went to Church and attended my first service after 3 years!! It felt really really good... I cried... 0906, Queenstown Baptist Church....

Its as if my Dearest Daddy was telling me "Girl, you are finally back, I've always been here waiting for you". The warmth I felt that day was like Daddy hugging me. I know I had forgotten about him for a long time. I was too coped up with other stuffs that I forgot to worship him and praise him. I took for granted the things he did for me, the 3 wonderful kids he blessed me with.
Dear Father in Heaven, Thanks for always being there for me. I know that every thing that happened, happened for a reason. Even though they seemed very heart wrenching at times but I know you must have prevented something worse from happening. I just want to say I Love you very very much. I pray that you will continue to bless my family and myself with good health and wisdom for everything.
Love Ya Dad!
From:
Me.

1st Day at Business Objects.... SYDNEY!!!

It was my first day at work in Business Objects today... I had checked the online map yesterday and roughly know how to get to Miller Street but the biggest problem was..... how to get out of hotel.. HAHAHAH

I woke up early in the morning and took a bath in the cold... Sydney's having its winter now and its about 16-18 Degress Celsius outside... hahah and remember, my hotel room heater is faulty? hehehe

I took a hot water bath and wore my suit to work... Went downstairs and walked out of the main door... Hmmm... how do I get to the streets without having to walk down the slop? Went back into the hotel again and took the lift down to basement... Oops... basement is just the underground carpark.. I still can't get to the streets.. At this time, a caucasian guy came in to the lift at basement and I think I look quite lost.. hahah he started asking if I was lost... I said that I'm trying to get to Miller Street and he offered to bring me there cause he's going that direction as well... I was delighted..

He took me to Level 1 and instead of walking to the main door, he turned left and walked the other way... As a caucasian, he's tall... and walks super fast also... I had to like be in a half running mode to try to catch up with him. So... what I had to do is to walk to the back of the hotel and there was a door which led to a short flight of stairs to the streets.. Yeh!!! So I walked to Miller Street as per what I remembered from the map...

As I walked and walked, I still couldn't find the unit I was looking for... :( There were some shops under renovation but I don't think that's what I'm looking for... I walked to the next junction and started asking around... I asked some contractors working on a shop under renovation and they do not know where 80 Miller Street is @@... can't believe it man...

Thinking back about the map, I remembered that its before the junction so I walked backwards.. Guess what! I walked past the building earlier.. hahah Its really just before the junction... how could I have missed it...

I quickly walked to the lobby and went upstairs.. I introduced myself to our lovely receptionist, Carmen... Carmen quickly called for Michelle and she came to bring me to our desks... After settling down, she took me for a quick tour around the office and introed me to the wonderful pantry that I will never forget. It had orange juice, milk, bread, butter, cereal, fruits, DISH WASHER... and etc...

The next surprise was that it wasn't the only pantry... There was another pantry which had a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, fridge, LCD TV!!! can you believe that I was watching Oprah during lunch!!! hahahha Not forgetting to say that it had a beautiful view!!!

I will never forget the office.. it had the best pantries I've ever seen...

In Sydney - *Warning* Very Long Post

Arrived at Sydney Airport at about 7 plus Sydney time which is about 5pm Singapore time. There was a lot of ppl at the Airport, very packed.

It was cold. About 16 Degrees C, brrrrr it was dark as well. Totally feel like night time... In SG, 7 plus, we still can see some gleam of light in the sky but its different here.

Dragged my luggage to outside the airport and sat there for a smoke plus wear my business suite cause it was really cold. Called my hubby to say that I've reached and they are still at my parent's place. So I told him I was fine and will be heading for the airport soon. At this time, Aunt Glenda called. I was so happy cause she's was married to an Aussie, Uncle Geof, and is residing in Aust now. So I told her I am in Australia already :). Then she says that she will find a day and ask Uncle Geof to drive to North Sydney to meet me... Was thrilled cause I have not seen her since she got married.

Well, back to my little adventure, I went to look for the taxi queue outside the airport. The queue was really long but moved really fast. After a short while, I got on a cab told the driver to drive to Habourview Hotel. On my way to the hotel, I heard very loudly "Pop, Pop, Pop" on my left. I turned to see what it was and I saw Fire Works!!! Hahaha the driver said jokingly that Sydney's welcoming me... He's got such good humour. I understand from him that they don't have this often and they must either be having a celebration or a rehersal. Whatever it was for, its nice. My first time seeing fireworks "Live" at such close proximity. After some time, I reached the hotel and it costs me about AUS$40plus. Thats expensive. It was only about 20 mins cab ride. Hehheheh

Hotel's up a little slope and it has got a very nice view. I took my luggage and went to the hotel. After informing the Hotel Guest Relations personnel that I have a reservation, he asked me for my credit card. Well, it was my first time abroad and checking in to a hotel myself so I was like @@, I have no credit card and I thought it will be covered by the company. So I informed the gentlemen that I do not have one and I will have to check with the company tomorrow when I get there.

They brought me to the room and it was at the top level Suite. Cool....

Well it looks like a normal SG hotel room with TV and working desk. But it was real exciting as it was my first "adventure". I kept my luggage and laptop and suddenly realised that I hadn't had dinner. Hahahah too excited and forget all about it. It was already 10pm. In house Restaurant was already closed hence I decided to call for Room Service and ordered this.... Pizza. Well, everything on the menu looked so expensive hence I chose to eat Pizza. hahahha

Pizza was huge and I love it.

I have a bathtub and a heater... Like I said, I haven't travelled before hence it took me some time to figure out how to operate the heater.. hahahah In the end, I actually spent the first night in the cold cause the heater was faulty.. hahah

Tomorrow off to the office!!! More to come :)

12th Aug 2007 - My First Flight

This was blogged when I was on the plane. My first flight and I was flying ALONE!!!

Hi Everyone… Guess where I am now?

I am blogging from many many feet above ground. The Mountain tortoise has stepped out of her little SGD!! heheh I’m on SQ 219 on my way to Sydney… I’m now some where above the Indian Ocean (As at 12:46pm SG time , Still got 4:15 more hours to go…) heheheh, am already a little restless as I have stayed about 2 hours plus in flight.

Bags have already been packed last night and I was ready to go physically but was I ready mentally? Was I ready to leave my 3 kids and hubby for 5 days? We Shall see…

I want to blog as much as I feel and can rem since it’s my first flight. Let’s see what I have done so far:

6:30am 12th Aug: Hubby woke me up, bath and change to get ready.
6:45am: Dad called to say that he’s on his way
7:00am: Woke Joshua and Joy up to change. Josiah was already up since 5plus 6 am… heheheh
7:10am: Daddy reach our place, went down and started our trip to the airport and hubby was so nice to help me carry and load my luggage… Think he will miss me very much.. heheheh *winkz*
7:45am: Arrive at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2 and approach Counter 8 to check in my luggage. It was quite a long queue.
8:00am: Luggage checked in and we brought the kids to the Macdonalds to have their favourite breakfast.
8:30am: Kids finished breakfast, I told Daddy and hubby that I will go in already cause I didn’t want to be late… :) so gave Joshua, Joy and Josiah a hug and we tool the escalator up.
8:40am: Arrive at the “gates” (dunno what u call that… immigration gates?) hehehe and realized that the display states SQ219 “Last Call” (at 8:45am last call?? I pondered)…
Gave all three of them big hugs and told Joshua to listen to his Daddy, I hope he does…
Gave Shawn a hug and kiss, bid daddy and mummy bye and walked in.
8:45am: Went through the “XRay” inspection point and put my lappie back through then walked pass the “counter” where the lady checked my Visa and boarding tix and proceed to walk in. I’m boarding at Gates F60 and it was all the way in. Gate F60 was the end on the right side so walked on 3 parallel travelators before arriving at the inspection point. There was soooooo many ppl queuing. So I went to the washroom first, well the flight is 6 ½ hours u know…
8:55am: Went through the queue of ppl and put my stuffs through that “XRay” machine again. This time, I was asked to take my laptop out and put it in a separate box. Luckily, there was not much problems except that when I went trough the metal detector, its beeped.. heheheh, actually it beeped for many ppl… so we had to step over, and raise our hands to the side while the use the manual metal detector to screen pass each hand and each leg… :) Was quite “exciting” though…
9:15am : Proceed to the boarding counter and pass this nice lady my boarding pass and she returned me a section of it which stated my seat (58H). Couldn’t get a window seat as I was not fast enough… I will sure get the window seat on my return trip… lol. After the boarding counter, walked through another passage way to the plane.. Hubby called (I stepped aside for others to board) to say that they are going to my dad’s place cause Joshua wants to play guitar.. Wonder where does the Guitar comes from… I bid him goodbye again and phone and boarded the place..
9:35am: Pilot announced that we are a little behind schedule due to some issues and will get clearance in a few minutes..
9:45am: We are finally taking off… I felt a bit giddy when Plane taxi out, cause it kinds of feels like a car moving and stoping, moving and stopping. It also felt a little like roller coaster… soon we are up in the air already… Everything looks so small… hahahha the clouds looks like Marshmallows and it really looks very cool…

Current time:

1:18pm SG time: Local time in Sydney is 3:19pm.
I’m now over Timor Sea… reaching the edge of Aus soon
Distance left to travel to destination: 3653km

Ground Speed 866km/h
Time left: 3:43hrs
Altitude 11300m
Head Wind:62km/h
Outside Air Temperature: -46 °C

Estimated Arrival time 7:06pm Sydney time.

Okie.. That’s all for now.. I feel very sleepy, shall sleep and blog more later or when I reach the hotel..
